Hatton is a good transport hub for more popular destinations, but it’s also worth visiting as it has easy access to tea plantations, waterfalls, beautiful scenery and is a 1 hour, 30mins bus journey to Sri Pada/Adam’s peak. Stunning views from our room balcony watching sunrise over the mountains and many different birds and palm squirrels in the trees. Delicious food available, with a great selection of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. You can take a 10min walk from the home stay and be in the middle of tea plantations with great views also.
