We highly recommend this place, absolutely beautiful views, 7 min walking from restaurants, clean and spacious room and one of the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. The night that we arrived to Ella the guy who runs the place, came to pick up us for free, he was super helpful giving us tips and advice about what and when to see places. We asked a couple of time just for hot water to prepare te and both times they give us a big pot of tea with cookies and some fruits for free. Really lovely family, we will come back for sure!

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.

During our recent trip to Ella, we had the pleasure of staying at Rawana Mount View and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Sri Lankan hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The owner and his assistant was really friendly and were incredible hosts. They greeted us with smiles, offered us a refreshing drink, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food at Rawana Mount View is simply delicious! Every meal was bursting with fresh flavors, and we highly recommend trying their traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Breakfast was a highlight—especially the Sri Lankan pancakes and freshly brewed tea. Dinner was a special experience as well, with options that reflect the local culinary heritage. The meals are prepared with love and care, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. One of the highlights of our stay was the local guide, Mr Blum, that the owners introduced us to. He was not only knowledgeable about the area but also extremely passionate. We had a fantastic evening walk to Eagle Rock to watch the sun go down and his insights made the trip so much more enriching. His guidance and stories about his meetings with leopards were highly entertaining. Comfortable Rooms with Hot Showers The rooms at Rawana Mount View are cozy and very comfortable. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight was the hot shower—after hiking through the lush landscapes, it was an absolute treat! The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. In conclusion, Rawana Mount View Ella offers an exceptional stay for anyone visiting Ella. Whether you're drawn to the stunning views, the welcoming atmosphere, or the authentic food, this place will exceed your expectations. This b&b is managed by Dilshan and gentle Piyumi and their family. They manage the place with charme and love and you feel to be home as soon as you step inside. They are ready to offer suggestions for sightseeing with a local expert. I was amazed seeing a few European customers that keep coming back to the Guest House. When I left I realized why. The room we had was spacious and had a terrace with view. Topically Sri Lankian style decorated. A large bathroom with shower and morning breakfast with local traditional food. WiFi was available and good. Do not expect luxury’s, but attention and love is guaranteed.
