Hemantha, the owner and manager of hotel and his son Dulana have built a truly beautiful pearl in the middle of the rainforest. With excellent English, they took care of us and fulfilled all our wishes. This is our fifth time in Sri Lanka, but we visited Kitulgala for the first time during our travels and I can recommend this area to everyone to visit. Waterfalls in the middle of the forest and rafting on the river are among the great experiences that this hotel offers you at a very fair price. And then you can let yourself be pampered in the comfort of the hotel with great food and enjoy a bath in the beautiful natural pool or right in the small clean river that flows around the hotel. Thanks again, Hemantha and Dulana.

My sister and I loved our stay at Aramya Hotel—everything was simply perfect! The staff was beyond kind, always ready to assist and help. We arranged activities like jungle walks, abseiling and rafting through the hotel, and each experience was incredible. Our room was sparkling clean and spacious, with a stunning river view and a lovely balcony. The hotel itself is amazing, featuring a large pool, a beautiful garden, and stunning interior design. We enjoyed all our meals at the property, which offered delicious vegan options—something we truly appreciated. We really appreciated that the hotel provides refillable glass jars in the rooms instead of promoting single-use plastic bottles. It’s a shame we only stayed for two nights; we would definitely love to come back!

Everything about our stay was incredible. The staff made our stay extra special. Our room had a private pool which faced the jungle and it was very relaxing to enjoy a dip in the heated pool while being inside the jungle and listening to the river water flowing below. We had monkeys visiting our balcony in the morning. The retreat is facing the river and featured a natural pool for guests to enjoy. Indoneel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and pleasure, he has even surprised us with a romantic candle dinner. Lalith, the Chef, prepared amazing meals for us and was super kind and friendly too. The retreat had an accommodation for our driver which was a great gesture. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again. P.S. they said the food there was halal, which was a great addition

The host was just awesome and so welcome and helpful! The room was comfortable and clean, the view from the balcony was great. Just 2mins from the room there is a river where you can safely cool down. If you’re okay with it, you can also play with 5 wonderful dogs!

The room was huge and had an amazing mountain view.. really! The host was helpful and despite not great English language skills, he and his family were super helpful and even organized rafting for us,which was really fun!

    We spent four wonderful days at Winland Coffee and Stay. The room was bright, clean, and spacious, with a balcony offering a great view of the Kehlani River and the jungle beyond. The food is freshly prepared and tastes absolutely delicious. The hotel owner, Lasantha, takes heartfelt care of his guests—he drives them by tuk-tuk to nearby waterfalls, swimming spots, and other activities. He is available around the clock and seems to anticipate every wish his guests might have.

    The views, the natural water pool and the terrace was magical! This place is very tranquil with the most beautiful views of the jungle and mountains. We were the only guests when we arrived and the stuff took a lot of care of us. They even helped us to drive our tuk tuk down because the road to the hotel is very steep and bumpy.

    The man that stayed in the hotel and managed our stay was so lovely and amazing. He couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and was so sweet, one of the kindest people I’ve met! The room was recently renovated and very comfortable - the bed was amazing and bathroom very modern.
