We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were super nice and welcoming. Nigel, the owner, made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was awesome too—I definitely had some great meals here. Totally recommend it if you're looking for a chill place with friendly vibes and good eats!

We had an amazing time at Hilltop Cabanas! The place is located right at the beach and around there is pretty much just nature - we loved it! The manager was so friendly and even showed us wild roaming elephants in the afternoon, an unforgettable experience! The Cabana itself was perfect: it was clean, had a special atmosphere because you are sleeping „outside“ but even tho there was no AC it‘s not too hot at night. The common area had some books and games you could use which was also really cool. The food choices were limited (offseason) but the meals were just fantastic - 10/10! All in all: 100% recommend this place!

Babar Point is the kind of place you arrive at and immediately know you’ve found something special. Tucked away in Pottuvil, just a short walk from the surf point, this boutique hotel feels like a little slice of heaven. The design is so thoughtful — six cozy cabanas surrounded by nature, a beautiful pool, and the best mango lassis we’ve had in Sri Lanka. What truly made our stay unforgettable were the owners — a kind and welcoming Swiss couple who made us feel like part of their family. Their warmth, love, and attention to detail created an atmosphere that felt both homelike and magical. We loved being in this quieter corner of the coast, away from the busy center of Arugam Bay, where you can still surf, spot elephants by the beach (yes, really!), and reconnect with nature.

We had a wonderful day at Aprota Villas. The property is stunning and incredibly peaceful. The entire space feels thoughtfully maintained from the gardens to the rooms. The rooms were spacious, spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi worked very well throughout our stay, and it is not too far from the hotel to the surfing sites that made it so easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.

Each room has been carefully furnished with simplicity and warmth, allowing us to enjoy nature without losing the comforts of modern life. Lying in bed at night, you can see the sky full of stars through the window, and this pure experience is unforgettable. ## Gourmet feasts cooked by the hostesses themselves One of the highlights of Monson Resort is that every meal is cooked by the hostess herself. Using fresh local ingredients, she utilizes traditional Sri Lankan cooking techniques to the fullest.
