Its a beautiful place in the countryside, simple and rustic and so pretty ... the bed was very comfortable and both the room and bathroom very clean and the breakfast setting, looking at the garden and land beyond, created a very peaceful start to the day and the omelette was delicious ... the host and his wife are delightful, too!

The place is absolutely wonderful, the staff is lovely and they make you feel at home. If you want to do excursions like a tour in the ancient city or a safari: they will arrange it and they make sure you have everything you’ll need. The chef also makes delicious meals. Maho was our best stay in Sri Lanka within 4 weeks. Large rooms, great sanitairy, and a lovely bed with pillows feeling like clouds.

The owner gave me very accurate advice for every circumstance:) the family is very nice, feel very cozy staying there. Every offer, such as accommodation cost, Tuktuk fee going around ancient city, taxi from airport, are very reasonable that is well-considered for tourist to spend not too much money. The property is very beautiful and the staff are truly kind and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel twice and the food was really delicious, although a bit more expensive compared to local Sri Lankan prices. The room was large and clean, and there’s a lovely swimming pool that unfortunately we didn’t have time to try. The staff kindly arranged two bicycles for us to visit Anuradhapura — it was a great experience! Breakfast was plentiful, with a nice Sri Lankan selection and eggs to order. Highly recommended!
