Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. If you’re looking for something off the tourist track and really in nature this is definitely the place to book.

A great experience of hosting in the foot of Knuckle Forest! Fully recommend staying at Rohana’s place for some days. He is very willing to help you anytime with the planning of your holiday, offering a great variety of hiking paths. The food was also very delicious offering a variety of local Sri Lankan plates.

Our stay at SANTANI Hotel was a captivating experience. The spa, nestled against the jungle backdrop, was utterly fascinating. The food was a revelation, surpassing expectations, and the view from our room was nothing short of breathtaking. Perched on a cliff, we gazed out toward the stunning mountains cloaked in lush greenery. When it rained, staying on the balcony was an enchanting experience. Surprisingly, the temperature, around 26 degrees, wasn't as chilly as anticipated, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.
