Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. The hotel is the best located in the city, just on the lake perfect for mature lovers who will see plenty of birds and maybe some elephants if you are lucky. The hotel manager is extremely nice and ready to help you for anything you may need. Nice room directly on the lake and breakfast

Seyara felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived. The owner of Seyara is funny and kind, and he helped us arrange activities and solve the challenges we had during our stay. We were 8 people, kids and adults travelling together, and Seyara Holiday Resort was everybody's absolute favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The staff where all amazing and helpful, food was delicious, the rooms were very comfortable and the pool was perfect with lots of wildlife inside the garden surrounding the pool.The owner arranged for us to rent bikes that easily took us to the most beautiful places. We strongly recommend this resort, and we can't wait to come back.
