I had such a great experience there. The owner, Sanjaya really was so helpful. If there is any kind of problem, he will help you anytime. The room was comfortable, and nice in size, with a coffee maker and Air Conditioned as well. The bathroom has hot water. The breakfast is awesome, with many varieties of fruits, eggs, and curries. I can't even remember everything I had served on the table. The cherry on the cake, there is the POOL. Nice size, and the perfect temperature. Definitely, I enjoyed being there! Leel and his family are the most amazing people, and the property is just beautiful! The rooms are what I'd call Sri Lankan jungle-chich, very curated clean and comfy. We had lunch, dinner and a breakfast on-the-go and the food was always great. Leel personally guided our safari and it was awesome, he is very knowledgeable and loves what he does, which is very visible :) He even offered to take us to our next destination with his jeep, providing us with a panoramic fun trip there. We would definitely recommend this property but don't book too much, we're hoping to find it available next time we come too ;)

We had a truly amazing stay at Amba Kola. The food was better than most restaurants and hospitality better than most hotels. The living space is comfortable, the area is calm and within a kilometer from the national park where you can see wild Elephants in their natural habitat.
