I felt at home and everyone in the family is a friendly, accommodating and a warm host. I learned a few more words of Sinhala while I helped Damayanthie with the cooking or played UNO with their children. There is a river nearby where you can swim, so I went there with the 2 kids. Excellent Location. Around 8 Kms from Wilpattu National Park Hunuwilgama Gate. Right on the Highway. The Lake view from the Rooftop of the Resort is as amazing as it can get, specially in the early morning & in the evening. The take away Breakfast & Lunch were ready as per our timing (Order had to be passed a day before). Overall Food was of very decent quality & quantity wise was Value for money. Reception & all the staff were very welcoming, specially Madhav who provided us services in every way we requested & always with a smiling face. All in all a great experience.

Wonderful stay. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Arranged safari for us which was excellent. Place was very clean. Restaurant is about 100m up the road.
