The hotel is in the middle of the tea plantation with an incredible view. The staff is super kind and always available for any requests. The amenities are gorgeous and refined in all details, surrounded by a very well maintained garden. Dinner available (but you need to reserve) and breakfast was excellent. There’s also a lovely swing for instagram photos :) Would love to return!

Wonderful small hotel that make us feel like home. Very peaceful and with an incredible view of the mountains. They upgraded us to the suite for free, which was very very good. Very attentive employees. I wish we could have stayed longer!! I highly recommend it!

We stayed at Thuruliya Hotel for one night and loved it. The hotel has incredible views, and we enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and tea fields on the way from Nanu Oya station. The staff were very kind, and the restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes.

This is a great place to stay if your traveling between cities and need a place to stop for a night. Its surrounded by tea plantations and a waterfall so plenty to see in the surrounding areas too. The owners were so lovely and fed us well. The room is probably the nicest one we've stayed in during our sri lanka trip. The views are amazing!

Very clean, and a good location for the pekoe trail. The owner Nalinda is very kind and is an exceptional host. The food was fabulous! Delicious pumpkin curry and daal! Very reasonable price for what i was offered

We loved the views, the service and the ‘home away from home’ feel. The hotel manager was absolutely incredible and the best host we have had in Sri Lanka. Thanks for having us! Just note the accomodation is quite far away from Nuwara Eliya town, and is more of a remote getaway.

The meticulously maintained garden provided an ideal setting to enjoy a leisurely cup of tea while taking in the serene atmosphere. What truly sets Highgrove Estate apart is its exceptional staff. The team was not only courteous but seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our comfort was truly remarkable. The food at Highgrove Estate was consistently excellent, and they were more than accommodating when it came to our dietary requirements. Mr. Fernando and his team were always available to assist, yet they managed to do so without ever being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy our privacy. If you're seeking a vacation that promises complete relaxation in a dreamlike and tranquil environment, Highgrove Estate is the perfect destination. In just four days, we were able to shed the year's worth of work-related stress. We can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise and reunite with Mr. Fernando and his wonderful team. Highly recommended!

    Prosper, our host, is a very special person and really made...

    Prosper, our host, is a very special person and really made this home stay very special. The view was spectacular and the tea factory tour was well worth a visit. It is an old plantation which still uses traditional methods. We had a free tour which included tea tasting and picking the leaves. You need to go out to eat so we went to Tea Bush Hotel which was about 2km away. We took Prosper too 😀
