Leel's Safari Cottage is much more than just accommodation. It's hard to explain how well we were welcomed by Leel and his family. The attention to detail, where nothing is lacking for their guests. An incredible accommodation, well looked after, thought out down to the smallest detail. As hosts in our country we are quite demanding and critical of the accommodations where we usually stay, but here, a rating of 10 is not enough. It exceeded all expectations and it's good to realize that here, welcoming guests is more than just a business. It's done from the heart. I can only recommend that you leave your entire experience in Leel's hands, from the meals to the safari. Leel, thank you very much for welcoming us so well.

Could not be happier with our stay at Wild Lake Side!!!! Run by such a beautiful couple who make you feel right at home. The cabins are gorgeous and immaculately clean. Being able to watch the turtles, birds and even little crocodiles from the balcony was truly a treat and made you really feel immersed in nature. The food was also a highlight for us - best Kottu we had on our entire trip! We only stayed 2 nights as we were in Udawalawe for a safari but would have easily stayed longer. We absolutely will stay here again if we find ourselves in Udawalawe again in the future!

Beautiful, quiet location. The lodge is excellent, the best quiet environment I had in Sri Lanka, the jacuzzi tub is perfect for a dip after a long safari. The owner and staff are very friendly. The lodge also organized my private safari and my guide, driver Janaka, was excellent. I actually liked my Udawalawe safari better than the one I did in Yala.

Our stay at Serene Retreat was truly memorable. This place is surrounded by greenery and offered a peaceful escape from the busy city. The room was spacious, with modern amenities. It had everything you could need, including air conditioning and a hairdryer. The pool area was a real highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing with sun-beds. The food was a real highlight — the breakfast spread had a variety and catered to different tastes. The staff went above and beyond, always welcoming us with a smile and offering helpful tips about the area. It was a perfect get away for us and would love to come back again.

A true paradise – the perfect place to relax! Our stay at this villa was absolutely exceptional. From the very first moment, we felt completely at home – the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. One day I wasn’t feeling well, and the owner personally brought me medicine. Thanks to his care, I felt better right away – such kindness truly touched me. The villa itself is stunning – surrounded by nature, with a private and very clean pool that was perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The room and bathroom were pure luxury: spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless. The daily breakfasts were delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere of the place allowed us to truly unwind – body and soul. This is one of those places you simply don’t want to leave. An amazing and friendly place to stay in Udawalawe National Park. Accommodation is very nice and clean. Dushan gave us a lot of information and types for another places in Sri Lanka. We also booked 6 hours safari with Dushan's brother. It was amazing! Our guide told us a lot of interesting information about every animal in the park. We weren't in rush at all, he stopped at every nice place or when we spotted an animal. We didn't see almost any other jeeps. They also prepared for us delicious dinner, that was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Thank you 🙏
