We had the most wonderful stay at Sundara over new year. The resort is on a stunning beach that is so so peaceful. Most of the time we had the beach to ourselves as there are no other hotels on the stretch of beach. The pool is great and the food was excellent. Special thank you to the sundara team for making New Year’s Eve such a special evening. we will for sure be coming back! It is also very much worth doing the river cruise that is near by - breathtaking scenery and highlight of the trip

Upon arriving the staff were very welcoming. They offer juice, fresh coconut and brought us to our room. The rooms are very clean. Lots of towels and the bathroom was spotless! The pool is in a nice location with a view of the ocean. The staff is what really made this an excellent place to stay. The manager sent us fresh fruit and coconuts and made sure we had everything we needed. He told us to make this feel like a second home and was very welcoming with a big smile on his face. This is a perfect spot for a quiet get away far enough from town to enjoy yourself peacefully. This is a must stay location!

This accommodation will surprise you with its beatiful architecture. You cannot find very often house like this. The property is well situated both very close to the town centre and beach. Within 2-3 minutes. Nice, clean room with comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. The owners are very nice people who help with everything you need. They can help with trips and transportation. You can also have amazing breakfast. Enjoy your sray!

I am really happy we found this place and it wasn’t easy to leave (we prolonged our stay one more night, it was so nice). Place itself is very new, good equipped and modern. Beautiful surroundings and extremely helpful staff. Chef is preparing amazing breakfasts and can serve freshly caught fishes from the local fishermen.

We stayed in a 'Double Room with Balcony and Sea View' at Ocean Front Villa in Ambalangoda, and it was an incredible experience! The room was excellent, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean that made our stay truly special. Akurala Beach is just a short walk away, and we enjoyed capturing a beautiful sunset there. The hotel’s location on the Colombo-Galle road is very convenient, with easy access to public transportation. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the facilities provided in the room were impressive, enhancing our overall comfort. As a newly opened hotel, it’s off to a great start. We’re confident this place will become a favorite for many travelers. Highly recommended! Rooms: We stayed in the Double Room with Balcony and Sea View, and it was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The balcony offered a stunning view of the sea.
