The initial response to our booking query was prompt and during our stay Jenni , the receptionist/waitress made us exceptionally welcome. She spoke excellent English which helped and on arrivel she ensured we had a safe lock up for our bikes, our room warm and a good understanding of the menu/wines. The location is wonderful and very peaceful. The entire hotel is simply amazing perfect cleanliness. The apartment had very comfortable beds, towels, and a large bathroom. The shared kitchen is also very well equipped for guests: several refrigerators, coffee, tea, spices, all necessary dishes, and filtered water. There is also a recreation area. There is a good restaurant just down the hill, private parking behind the building, shops and historical location nearby. Very friendly owners who even gave us a fan without us asking to help with hot weather. Way bigger than it looks on the pictures.
