We couldn’t have had better hosts. So welcoming! This recently restored Riad in the quieter but very interesting Jewish quarter was fully decorated in Moroccan style by local artisans. We were particularly grateful for the airconditioned room and the cool sitting/dining area. Our hosts catered to all our food preferences and gave us all the information and practical help we needed to make the most of our stay in Fes.

Very kind staff from driver to cleaning ladies and reception staff. We enjoyed indoor pools and sauna very much. At the reception, they arranged us a tour guide for old medina and it was really unforgettable. We went places you can never find on your own, really unbeliavable old town.

A beautiful and comfortable hôtel. We were welcomed with a smile and everything was well organized. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the place was very quiet—perfect for relaxation. The rooms and the environment of Hotel Sahrai is super good!! And the view on the terrace outside the restaurant is great! The hotel has swimming pool with view of Medina of Fes, but unfortunately we stayed during the winter time and didn’t have a chance to swim. The breakfast is good compared to the normal hotels in Fes, they offer many kinds of fruits and vegetables. Overall recommend!

I’d highly recommend staying at Barcelo hotel. The room was large and clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet and provided a wide range of options. It’s not the cheapest location in fes and you’re not in the medina (it’s a short and cheap taxi ride away) but the location is still good. It’s next to a busy road but the soundproofing is excellent and I couldn’t hear anything. I slept much better than in other cities where I stayed in a Riad.
