United Arab EmiratesThe location was amazing, along about an hour and a half of bumpy sand road, but when you arrive the blue of the sea and the tranquil location makes it worth it. Perle and Jean-Michel are very good hosts, and there is a restaurant and bar with open air seating. The food is good French-style food, with a daily menu that is not extensive but that is because I think the food is all locally sourced. The villa option, where you can rent the upstairs or downstairs part, is like having your own secluded beach house. Kokoa Sands is a fantastic place if you are looking for seclusion and a sense of being in an out of the way place, and which also has good food and wifi. But remember that this is a secluded place, although perfectly safe. The nightlife is chatting around the bar or watching the moon reflecting on the sea.
