My friend and I stayed with Riyas between the 24th and 27th July and he was the best host we’ve ever had. We loved the hotel so much, we even decided to extend our stay in Gaafaru! The communication was fantastic even before arrival and Riyas organised transport to and from the airport for us. Upon arrival to the island, we were greeted with coconuts which was a nice touch! He also organised excursions (swimming with sharks and a trip to the sandbank) for a reasonable price, and also took incredible photos and videos for no extra charge. The breakfast provided was fantastic and the host was very accommodating to our dietary needs (we are both vegetarian). We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel every night and despite being vegetarian, we did not run out of things to choose from. The hotel was in pristine condition: the wifi worked perfectly and there was air-con and a fan in the bedroom, and a mini fridge! The bikini beach was a 2 minute walk from the hotel which is where we spent the majority of our time. After 6pm, you can go and see the stingrays at the beach which was cool, especially getting to feed them 😊 Overall, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had whilst travelling and would recommend to anyone visiting the Maldives! 🇲🇻

Be it the food, creating memories, caring for you during activities, lovely and clean rooms, washrooms, bedding, special decorations - they just excel in everything. An Unforgettable Stay at a Stunning Maldives Island Resort What an incredible resort! Just 4 years old, this island retreat in the Maldives felt fresh, modern, and beautifully designed — exactly what we were looking for. Every space, from the villas and rooms to the restaurants, bars, and spa, was aesthetically stunning and meticulously maintained. The entire property was spotless, with regular cleaning that really stood out. We opted for the premium all-inclusive package, which was absolutely worth it. The mini bar was fully stocked and restocked daily, all drinks were included, and the food was both varied and consistently high quality. One of the highlights was the beautiful house reef, which my husband loved exploring. The location is also perfect — just 15 minutes by seaplane and a quick 45-minute speedboat ride, offering flexibility to reach Malé for international departures. The resort staff were exceptional, and the overall vibe was relaxed, welcoming, and luxurious. Our host Sonam was super nice and always very responsive so big thanks to her! The honeymoon package came with lovely extras like a sunset boat trip, a complimentary massage, and even a mini photoshoot — thoughtful touches that made our stay even more memorable all booked and arranged by her! We had initially been concerned that the island might feel too small, but after the intensity of our wedding, it was exactly what we needed. The compact size made everything feel accessible without being overwhelming — especially appreciated in the humid weather. Walking from our villa to the restaurant was just the right amount of movement. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Everything! From arrival until departure it felt like we were living in a dream. The island looked wonderful, there were many great activities included in the all-inclusive package and the staff was very helpful.

Our family really enjoyed the time we stay at OBLU Sangeli. The list of foot and drinks were good. The main pool is large enough for my kid and me really enjoy. We had a really great time there and would like to revisit the resorts.

Our stay in the hotel was perfect. Spent several hours a day exploring the reef, besides the variety of colorful fish we saw reef sharks, turtles, octopuses and a stingray. There are several points where you can start a snorkel but I recommend to go from the sunset point to the main restaurant. Current will help you to go fast and at this part of the reef is the most interesting. The food was excellent, mostly Maldivian and Indian cuisine, fresh fruits. Alcohol was good, includes Chilean and Italian vines. The villa was quite nice. We had a beautiful view on the ocean, it was quiet and secluded. We didn’t like our first villa because it was near the restaurant and we heard a DJ music from there until midnight. We asked for a change and the next day moved to another villa which was far away from music, thanks for that. Overall the island is so green and it was there comfortable there. There is a hotel app with your schedule and description of everything on island, which was quite useful.
