What a fantastic resort! The most amazing people work there, we were made to feel welcome at all times. The staff, amenities, beauty of the island, food - all was great! Special thanks to Asvan from housekeeping, Ziri, Sila, Dianne and Ayu from the Spa, Kishan and Alessio (the chefs), and Amal from Acqua restaurant for making our stay unforgettable. The food was always top quality and so many vegan options to choose from. They treated us like royalties at all times, and were the most lovely human beings, but to be fair all staff on the island were awesome!I already can't wait to go back! Thank you so much!

If you want a genuine maldives holiday, with sandy floors , no news no shoes and great service , this is the resort for you. Fantastic dive centre.

This was our 4th stay at Vabbinfaru, and it truly feels like our home away from home. The recent updates to the villas are moderate but noticeable, maintaining their charm while adding improvements. The new restaurants are fantastic—Saffron provides exceptionally good Thai food, and Sangu Garden blends naturally with the environment, offering a lovely alternative dining experience. What keeps bringing us back is the warm and super-friendly staff, the unique Robinson Crusoe feeling with sand everywhere (and no water villas!), the delicious food, the great house reef, and the private, quiet atmosphere. There were a couple of minor, temporary glitches related to the introduction of the new restaurants. Nevertheless, our concerns were handled swiftly and professionally, ensuring our stay remained memorable. We love this island so much that we’ve already booked our next visit in March! Highly recommended for those seeking a serene and authentic Maldivian escape.

Our stay at the resort was truly exceptional. The property is new, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, which made for a very comfortable and relaxing experience from the moment we arrived. Service The level of service exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention goes to Mazko, who was particularly attentive and made our stay even more enjoyable. Food & Dining The dining experience was outstanding. For the first two days, we enjoyed a set menu (à la carte) at two of the resort’s restaurants, followed by buffet-style dining at the Gallery Restaurant for the remainder of our stay. The food was consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Executive Chef Faisal, Chef Hassan, and Chef Thakendra for their dedication and hospitality. We also deeply appreciated Amal for the support and warm service throughout our stay. The entire team went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure every meal was a delight. Facilities & Ambience The resort’s facilities are top-notch. The entire property is peaceful and serene, making it a perfect getaway for rest and relaxation. The villas, in particular, were quiet, spacious, and elegantly designed—we thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent there. Overall Impression We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a tranquil and enjoyable escape. From the cleanliness and comfort to the exceptional service and food, everything was perfect. Excellent choice of breakfast and evening meals in the Celcius Restaurant. Beautiful, peaceful resort, a slice of paradise. Fabulous spa and spa treatments. Despite not diving/snorkelling we saw lots of fish, sharks and stingrays. We loved that it was so warm all through our stay. ( high twenties) Helpful and knowledge staff. Bonus having tea/coffee making facilities in the apartment.

From the moment they received us in the dock till the moment we leave this hotel it was a dream! . It has so many good things. To start the the food from the buffet was always great with a lot of options. We had dinner one night at Aqua restaurant!... it was amazing also!. The daily activities very good, karaoke!, movies at the beach by night!... all of them very good! We requested a sunset view villa over the water and that's what we got!... amazing view! Very good snorkeling area (ask for good places!) we had the opportunity to see turtles, stingrays and even a couple of sharks! beside hundreds of colorfoul fishes! The staff always with a smile on their faces ... we really appreciatte that! Special thanks to Nittu, who received us and was always concern about our needs and questions!!!..He had a really good vibe!... I recommend this resort !!

We've spent a week on the island, in the end of December including Christmas. This was a very good time to visit the resort, as there are a number of festive activities including Santa's visit and presents for kids, Christmas dinner and lunch and some other singing and dancing events. Get a beach villa, as it is closer to restaurant and bar area, has its own beach and small terrace and safer for kids. Very important, villas on north-west side of the island are much better - the beach is bigger, wider, has less sharp corals and most importantly - almost no waves and wind. Other sides of the island are much more windy and the beaches are shallow and surrounded by wave splitters. Villas 415-430 are the best places on the island. Resort is quite new (built in 2022), so everything is looking great, staff is making sure that everything is clean and well-maintained, beaches are all nice and sharp corals are being removed from the sand almost daily. Villas are also looking great, cleaned daily, if needed. The AC is very quiet and keeps the villa as cool as you'd like it to without blowing directly to your neck. Wi-Fi is relatively ok, streaming is blocked, but video calling works effortlessly. Restaurant is spacious, so even though the resort was full we always found a place to sit. Choice of meals is pretty big, separate sections for Indian and International cuisine + an Asian corner with dishes from Maldives, Indonesia, China, etc. Choice of desserts is pretty big as well. Bar area is surprisingly nice, with great pool, big set of sun beds (never had to search for a free one) and a small beach. Bar is serving drinks and cocktails, and you can ask for a cocktails even if it's not on the list of free ones. During evenings the bar area is the usual place for events, live music and overall buzz. Shout to an excellent live band, you are amazing :)! Thanks a ton to all the staff of the hotel and yes, cannot recommend OBLU enough, great holiday!

This place is a true paradise with an amazing staff and excellent food. The lack of wifi on the beach is a blessing, so people can focus on the nature and not bother others with their loud phones.

Everything was amazing. Mamoun and Asim specifically were very nice to us and made our honeymoon a fairy tail 🌹

The island is only 10min away from airport . The staff is super friendly and the service is executional. I am dreaming of coming back one day ….
