I have been traveling to Tulum for years and I can authentically say that this place is special and the food was delicious! whether you stay here or not, visiting Milam is a must, all the areas have an unique decoration and warmth. Wakax Hacienda was a nice discovery in Tulum. It is a very big property, with a lot of activities to do (included in the price) and with super comfortable e nicely decorated rooms. The restaurant is very nice as well, with happy staff read to bring you everything you need. We did a tour with gonzo (the hotel tour guide) through the underground river in the property. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, Gonzo is trained to teach and entertain and we had a wonderful time with him. The room had an amazing bed, very hot shower, air conditioning, robes and a big bathroom. All very well cleaned and organized.

The hotel decoration is amazing, it is inspired in vintage 80’s-90’s era with a mix of nature-meditation feeling, I really liked the vibe. Additionally, Fernando the host was super nice to us, he took us to see the sunrise in the morning, he made our stay cooler and comfortable (plus, the coffee here is really good, and I’m from Costa Rica where we really enjoy good coffee), thanks Fernando, hope your project keeps growing.

Excellent service The stuff is very helpful and generous. Brain gave us great ideas, recommendations and tips. The hotel is unique and very quiet. The room was clean and tidy. The location is very good and close to the main streets. We had a great vacation in Tulum.

    We seriously lucked out with our stay here.

    We seriously lucked out with our stay here. From the moment we pulled up to the quiet location and sea breeze we were over the moon with the place and it only for better from there. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped. Julian was a super host and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Antal has friendly, helpful staff full time that even brought us fresh coconuts our first day. There are kayaks and paddle boards available for use and loads of fun games in the communal area. We spent a few blissful days just at the salt water pool enjoying the views. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back! The one detail I would add is you really need a car to make the most of the area.
