We loved everything about it. The staff were so welcoming with coconuts waiting for us. The house was just stunning and had everything you could think. It was so quirky and great fun, my boys didn’t want to leave this morning. It was a great location for exploring but also in the middle of the jungle. We will definitely be coming back thank you

Our stay at this homestay was truly excellent, far beyond our expectations. The spacious layout and homely atmosphere made us feel extremely comfortable, as if we were in our own home. The house was well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed throughout our stay. The surrounding environment was peaceful, offering us privacy and a relaxing experience after a busy day. The host’s hospitality added a cute personal touch, making the whole experience even more memorable. This landed homestay provided the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and warmth. Very neat and clean house at 2nd floor of a shoplot. Located in the center of Kudat town, very close to shops and eatery place. The host is very helpful and kind. He provided us with some info on interesting places to go as well as things to do while in Kudat. Definitely will stay here once in Kudat with family again.

The villa is perfect..the service are great, the location just next to the beautiful beach, full privacy..we are a big group of families and the villa is perfect for us..everything was just perfect.

We stayed here for 5 wonderful days, what an amazing location. The rooms overlook the sea - in fact, the sea comes under the lodge at night and you go to sleep listening to the gentle waves. It is picture perfect. Each morning you can watch the sunrise from the balcony - it is quite simply stunning. Breakfast was different and delicious every day, we had fried things and fried rice, fresh donuts and other bakery items, nasi lemak and often toast as well. The meals on offer for other times are always freshly cooked and most delicious. The family were very kind to share with us some food on occasion, it was always delicious, they were very kind and welcoming. Udey - the host, can organise a taxi to and from wherever you need at a good price. We caught this taxi to the bus station, with Udeys' brother and father - a lovely and inspirational family. Udeys' brother learnt his English (which was really very good) from watching English movies - namely the BFG. They are part of a family of 10 siblings. There is a couple of small shops in the village which sell toiletries, noodles, biscuits, drinks and bread. The snorkelling is fabulous - you will need to ask Udey where to go - he and his family have been involved in the coral regeneration programs, right infront of the chalet is not good (although we did come across a couple of beautiful starfish) but over to the left and right - a short walk along the beach and the corals are beautiful and plenty of fish. We really enjoyed our 5 days of peace and relaxation, we will definately come again and stay longer next time. Accomodation is simple, rustic but lovely, comfortable bed, simple but adequate and clean bathroom with shower. There is a small kitchen area, with water dispenser, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee. There is rubbish on the beaches although there is a long term clean up plan. To be fair, pretty much everywhere we have travelled including the Maldives has a similar problem these days

Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)

Most wonderful people we met this trip and the the best we food we have had so far.
