We were warmly welcomed by our host, Gaby, and immediately felt at home. Gaby prepared a delicious dinner for us. She showed us her sheep, and we even had the chance to bottle-feed two of the lambs. It was a wonderful experience. We would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again. In the evening, we went for a short walk and saw three giraffes nearby. A wonderful experience of nature!

Stunning intimate lodge, very spacious rooms furnished with a blend of local and mid century modern furnishings. The grounds are a dream and so is the staff, so kind and helpful! The dinner we had at the lodge was hands down the best one we had in Namibia - great and lovely chef! The night drive was a great experience as well, beautiful views of the night sky on top of the game sightings. We only wish we had stayed longer!

The family chalet was perfect for four people. The decorations in the camp were amazingly creative and fun. The staff bent over backwards for us. They were all exceptionally kind and helpful.

Nice cabins, very clean. It’s warm inside during cold nights. Environment is great, surrounded by the bush, with nice rock boulders. There is a terrace overlooking waterhole. Dinner and breakfast were great. Nearby in Kamanjab is Himba village.

What Guests Said About Kamanjab:

Nothing goes on in this town.

Nothing goes on in this town. Kamanjab is ideal to break your trip en route to a planned destination. We ate a very good breakfast and dinner at Melissa’s. There is a nice private pool area where guests can relax. We did take a walk around the block where we stayed but we did not feel safe.
