There wasn't much else to do that appealed to us, but we walked to Oosterbeek to see the annual celebrations. I had visited Arnhem over 40 years ago and remember our guide bringing us to the famous John Frost Bridge. It's a beautiful city with lots of bars and restaurants. I particularly liked Sonsbeek Park with the White Villa. If you want to enjoy the history of WW2 then it is amazing.
If you want to enjoy the history of WW2 then it is amazing. It is easy to navigate around the main areas. The local rail and bus serv8ces are quick, clean and on time with air conditioning. The people are friendly and helpful, great bars and restaurants aplenty. Arnhem is a mix of Arts, culture, nightlife and shopping (fashion). So many restaurants to choose from. All type of cuisine. Foodhall at the Rijnkade is a great place for groups. It has an open layout, where you can wander around, explore a different type of food, before you make a choice. St. Eusebius church is a must-visit.
