Very cute and lively city in the middle of Zeeland, it is a great base point to visit other neighbouring places of interest like natural parks, coastal cities and other routes. Middelburg has a wide array of restaurants and bars to choose and the streets are cozy. There is some cultural landmarks to visit such as the Abadij or the windmills situated by the star-shaped canals. Middelburg was full of surprises at every corner. A tourist friendly easy walk around town. Beautiful architecture, cafes, and restaurants. Middelburg is a charming medieval city with cobblestone...
Middelburg is a charming medieval city with cobblestone streets, lovely churches, beautiful canals, and its own windmill. The shopping district is extensive, and there are restaurants of every kind with cozy outdoor seating. Dining outdoors on the main square is lovely! Middelburg is a very walkable city. The train station is not far from old town, so if you book a place in old town you can usually walk there in less than ten minutes. We found affordable parking for our car in an underground garage by the Albert Heijn grocery store on Het Groene Woud. I can't think of any restaurants to avoid; every place we went was pretty great. Prices are a little higher on the main square. I would recommend renting a bike and riding around the city, especially going out into the green countryside to see the cozy houses, sheep, cows, and goats. In the summer, there are flowers in abundance. The ocean is also just a few kilometers away and is a nice place for a sunset walk.Guest review bySteveUnited States

It is not a hotel but rooms to rent. No services of the hotel. The room itself was nice but no heating. Towels left in bathroom were damp in the morning. To be clear - if I reserve camping, I expect camping quality, if I reserve and pay for what they call a 4star hotel- I expect quality of a 4star hotel.
