Seems to be full of workers - smoking outside the front door. Employees are switching to other Bastion properties, the quality of the cooks is below zero. Happend to be young boys without any experience. The management has also lack on experience and could not change or solve a solution on my complains. The quests of the hotel exists of construction companies and their employees. The bar closes at 22:00 pm The only guests then were the friends of the manager (vr)then. they were served. yes ! After my complains where she asked me to lower my tone ! my room key was not functional anymore. I had to go back were another employee fixed this. Rent a bike and discover the area! take a bike tour from the hotel to Bloemendaal en Zee through the dunes! spectacular!!! A hidden treasure! Make sure you plan the route ahead, its huge and there are several routes. Rent an e-bike if you are not used to bike. the beauty of the area is unbelievable!!! plan to spend the day at the beach and watch the sunset from ine of the beautiful tent restaurants in the area.
