Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants. We visited the Circuit Park. We also enjoyed visiting Leiden by train and Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage site by car. Great location, lovely quiet town but has a few lively bars open until 3am if you want that. Stunning beach and great beach bars and restaurants. 15 mins on train to Haarlem and 30 mins on train to Amsterdam. Excellent location for families with wonderful amenities in the local town which is a 15 min walk. The beach is a 5 min walk, we went in December and this would be amazing in the summer months. Highly recommended, because it’s near to Zandvoort Centrum, Supermarket and the beach. We had our own parking slot in front of the door which was pretty great. Frans is a great host :) Frans was there for us immediately and we were able to reach him easily by phone and in person. Please note that there is no bathroom door.
