We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Skarslia Apartment! The accommodation was clean, cozy, and perfect for our family. Our kids felt right at home, with comfortable spaces to relax after our adventures. The host went above and beyond, warmly welcoming us and even giving us a tour of the nearby ski and cafe areas. We were delighted to spend a little extra time at the resort, thanks to his flexibility and kindness. It’s a lovely, family-owned spot that genuinely caters to families, making it easy to enjoy the area’s attractions together. We highly recommend Skarslia Apartment for families looking for a peaceful, accommodating stay. We’ll also be sharing a short video on our YouTube channel, Travel With Cubs, to showcase this beautiful accommodation.

I had an incredible experience here, would highly recommend! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful, the food is delicious and fresh, there are comfortable common areas with lots of couches and tables, my room was quite large with a comfortable bed and a gorgeous view out the window. You could not ask for a better location for winter activities--there are lots of trails for skiing, you can go over the mountains to the woods to cross-country ski, and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. During my stay, I was able to attend the Ice Music festival in an igloo just in front of the hotel, and see ice sculptures by a local artist along the trails. I could not have asked for a better experience. Just make sure to plan ahead for a car or taxi from Ål since the buses don't reach that far up the mountain. I can't recommend it enough, I had such a beautiful stay and hope that I can come back!

Everything! Thoughtful and detail oriented. Comfortable bed linen, great breakfast buffet, nice pool and slide area, super helpful staff and huge parking lot. Don't forget amazing views to the mountains!

Staff were excellent. I had a medical emergency on my last night and they were incredibly helpful and went over and beyond expectations to make sure I was alright. (I have visited many hotels in my time and this is the only review I have ever completed as I feel the staff deserve recognition. i do not remember names but the staff that helped me was a man and a woman both possibly in their 20s, I think the man said he was from Denmark. If anyone from the hotel reads this please pass on my thanks) Also, the food from the bakery and restaurant was amazing!

The host was perfect! Very nice and friendly, there was no restaurants nearby, so she cooked us a homemade meal, delicious. Really a perfect way to receive someone, the host made the experience perfect and the place even more memorable! Highly recommend!
