We stayed at the Quality Hotel Expo during our road trip from the Netherlands to Norway, and it became our favorite hotel along the way. The gaming room was an absolute highlight, and we had a great time playing there. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us and our dog feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of options. On top of that, the peaceful surroundings, with beautiful nature trails perfect for relaxing walks with our dog, made our stay even more special. I don't normally write reviews, but I needed to for this hotel, because it was so nice. We loved the breakfasts with multiple choices. I liked the pickled herring and smoked salmon while my wife preferred the eggs, fruit, granola and yogurt. We both liked the fresh baked bread which was delicious. Dinners were good too. I also liked the size of the room, and the staff was so helpful.

This hotel is beautifully situated by the Tyrifjord, 5 minutes’ drive from Vikersund Ski Jumping Centre, and 35 minutes' drive from Hønefoss.

We loved the place - especially the mini-gold, the sandy lakeside with chairs and the restaurant. Beautiful place to stay on the way back to Oslo. There is even a steam train nearby.
