We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.Guest review byEstherUnited Kingdom - 10

Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself. Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.Guest review byMartinGermany - 10

The staff were all fantastic and so helpful! We had help to book onto a jungle trek and a safari during our stay. We were also picked up from the bus station when we arrived (we don't have Internet in Nepal, but they rang the bus stations to find out how many buses had left from Pokhara that day, and rang the driver for updates, and were there to greet us when we arrived!) There is a beautiful garden to relax and have your breakfast before tge safari trip which the owner Sunil can book. I was not feeling well when I arrived and they looked after me so well. Amazing, warm and helpful people with great knowledge. Sunil welcomes you with a beautiful smile and makes sure you are enjoying your time in Sauraha and Chitwan. They organized the tours to the Chitwan National Park and a few other things. The guide we had was very professional. The location by the Rapti River was amazing. It was great to observe rhinos, elephants, crocodiles and peacocks while enjoying a delicious breakfast. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Happy Lemon Tree Lodge is a very special place to stay.
