The staffs were very friendly and specially, Mr Milan in the front office. They arranged our safari itinerary and the nature guide was amazing. The food was so good with an open kitchen that I’m currently feeling like going back. The room is well equipped and super comfortable. They have a spa called Ai Spa and the spa session was amazing. The sauna in the end helped me relax and relieve all my stress. They have a coffee shop names Ai Cafe. The coffee was so good that the entire lobby was aromatic. They have a garden in the making which sounds like an unique plan. The communication of staffs, the hospitality and service are over the top. Definitely will recommend.

The hotel has a big garden and lot of flowers. Kumar, the owner of the hotel, is a very nice man. He is very helpful and arranged the safari tours and picked up. The staffs is very nice as well. The bbq chicken was very tasty and remember to try one. Please tips the staff when you leave.

Had a wonderful stay here! The staff go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great time in Chitwan. They can help you arrange any tours and activities for a very reasonable price. Nice room, fast wifi, and for the three nights I stayed, I always had hot water in the shower. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The best place I have been in all of Nepal. If I could give more than 10, I would. Shiva’s Hippies Colony in Sauraha is not just a guesthouse , it is a home. Raj and Swastika form a lovely family. Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

It was my first visit.. I should say I had an amazing experience. Spacious room, delicious nepali dishes and a very comfortable atmosphere with a beautiful garden. Plus staffs are very friendly and fun loving. Better to bring families and friends when u have the stay. I will definitely visit Travellers Jungle camp the next time I come to Nepal.

The view from the hotel was really exceptional. You will really love your stay if you're a nature lover. Just 10 minutes walk to the city where you will finds lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff and the manager were really friendly. Very clean and great value for money.

    We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park.     We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

    Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

    Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself. Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

    Our one-night escape at Motherland Resort in Sauraha was simply exceptional. The standout dinner, pristine cleanliness, and the added bonus of a beautiful swimming pool made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

    July and august are not tourist season in Nepal That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

    - A real homestay - you feel like a guest of the lovely owner family - Excellent value for money - Very good Wifi, great AC - Very quiet and well-lit rooms with lots of space, large bathroom and bed - close enough to Chitwan for a rhino to come visiting in the evening - but also not too far from a large selection of restaurants - Brilliant tours into Chitwan National Park.     The hotel is nearby the river and a few min walk from the main street. There is a beautiful garden to relax and have your breakfast before tge safari trip which the owner Sunil can book. I was not feeling well when I arrived and they looked after me so well. Amazing, warm and helpful people with great knowledge. Sunil welcomes you with a beautiful smile and makes sure you are enjoying your time in Sauraha and Chitwan. I highly recommend the place!

    A gem of a hotel. The staff, the facilities, the room, the food. Without a doubt, the experience in Chitwan would have been different if we had not booked the Sapana Village. Best of all is the development project and sustainability programs they have. We did the Safari directly with them, all well explained and guided and we were lucky to see even a Tiger. We will miss this stay very much! Thanks to all the staff of the hotel!!

    Everything in Chitwan was so easy thanks to their help. I only had one full day and one half day there, but I was able to do everything I wanted—at a great price too. The staff is very welcoming and willing to help with anything you need. They go out of their way to ensure your stay at the hotel and your safari tours are perfect. Without a doubt, I’ll stay at this hotel again if I return to Chitwan!
