The hotel owner bent over backwards to help in organising transport to our next destination. All staff members were polite and accommodating. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and the hotel is conveniently located to the main bus hub-a 5-10 minute walk.

Not a lot of tourists spend time in Nuwakot, while the area is well worth visiting. This hotel seems to cater to businesses and NGOs. Room was cozy, spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Best part is the garden with river views, where you can enjoy the breakfast and the food of the excellent restaurant.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Famous Farm. The charm of the place is just undescribable. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed delicious food al fresco. Also we were accompanied on a walk up the hill and through the Village, which was amazing as we got to meet a lot of friendly people and saw beautiful things like the restoration of an old temple.

So friendly environment, perfect view and affordable price

Calm and clean place with great rooms and healthy food. It’s very safe to eat fruits and salads too. It was easy to explore the main sightseeing spots from here and it was always nice to return to this oasis in the midst of the lively Kathmandu. Triten Norbutse monastery is just 5 minutes walk away and is worth to visit and have a great overlook of Kathmandu from there. Staff was very kind and personal. I will return for sure.

I really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment at Hotel Monalisa. The natural views from the balcony and windows were stunning and made the stay even more relaxing. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the surrounding hotel premises, which added to the overall comfort. A perfect place for a serene getaway.

I absolutely loved and appreciated my stay at Mira’s and Sudarsan’s place! After travelling two months around Nepal and coming straight from Lumbini landing in such a clean heaven was a blessing! The house itself is so modern and beautiful, everything is always spotlessly clean and there is always a fantastic smell (jasmine, cleanliness and good food! best smells, no?) I originally booked for one week in the apartment, but i ended up staying two more weeks in another room and when i decided to spend some days away in the mountains, Mira held there some of my things for me so that i could travel lightly. Mira and Sudarsan are lovely people and you can always have good conversations and learn something new about the local culture, i really appreciated that! Around the table at dinner time you can meet people from all over the world. But if you are more of introvert like me, your privacy and alone time will always be highly respected. The wifi always worked great, even on the days when i had many hours of video calls for work, it never glitched. (and i have never experienced a power shortage during my stay!) Hot water is always plenty, and towels and sheets are very, very clean (and smelling good). Rooms are amazing, clean with lovely light coming in. The food is always good, healthy and fresh; i fell in love with Mira’s pumpkin soup. I am definetly going to miss it. The surrounding area is very calm, away from the hustle, and very peaceful. In a 30 min walk you can reach an area full of beautiful monasteries, and by following along the road you will then reach the monkey temple. I have enjoyed my stay so much and i will definitely come back on my next trip to Nepal. Thank you again, and so much love to all of you and lovely dog Lucky!

The apartment was cozy, clean and staff made us like home. All staff including Ganesh were friendly and helped us navigate grocery, nearby amenities. Thamel was also close by , so it was great location for exploring areas.
