Complete isolation from distracting city life. Stunning views. Great location for quietly exploring the wider area. The journey in might be a challenge for those only used to American freeways and quiet English country lanes but the Aotearoa bush and stunning scenery makes it absolutely worth it. The evening meal was substantial and very tasty. The environment and improvements being made at Lottin Point are a credit to the current ownership.

To see this place was like a life ambition for John and I as it is where the beginning of the day happens around the world., we will be back down again as we are sure this place we need to see many times over.

Everything was perfect. Highly recommend to those looking for a quiet retreat amongst nature. Wonderful kind host, beautiful gardens and walks. Will make sure to go fishing next time. Pet dog ‘Matawhero’ would recommend taking him a treat, he’s gorgeous 🥰 Will be planning a trip back with my whanau 👍 best place to get away to rejuvenate wellbeing 😊
