Sarah met us and was incredibly warm and friendly. She showed us around the property which was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean and welcoming. We even had a huge breakfast box delivered to our room in the morning which was great!

The Caravan was honestly more similar to a lovely tiny home.. Bright, Comfortable, and well stocked with all we needed. We so appreciated the "dropped off daily" breakfast supplies.. so much selection and a great treat. Loved the location, walked down to the ocean, viewed a beautiful sunset. The restaurant adjacent to the motel was excellent.

We were very warmly received and had great conversations with Alison and Andre (the host). They provided us with really useful local information and we followed their advice on what to visit the following day. Needless to say, we had a great day. Provided you like nature, this is a fabulous location to witness the sunset and listen to the birds. Overall a great place to stay near Westport.

After 2 weeks travelling New Zealand and staying in a variety of accommodation types, this has to be my favourite. The bed was incredibly comfy and I slept very well, and to wake up in the morning and have freshly ground, French press coffee was splendid. <3
