Was lovely to stay in a cosy accomodation more like a house.Bordeaux retreat was extremely clean comfortable with delicious cookies on arrival.The fridge / pantry stocked with milk fresh bread, cereal, tea and coffee all on offer. Hayley was very very quick to communicate and gave us some great tips on where to have dinner. We slept incredibly well and had a lovely breakie on the deck overlooking the garden.

Kohanga Farmstead is situated in Te Kohanga and offers a shared lounge. This farm stay has a garden and free private parking. Outdoor seating is also available at the farm stay.

Every aspect of this homestay is absolutely lovely. The home has beautiful interior decor and the hosts are so welcoming and accommodating. Take the time to appreciate the beautiful aspects of their home, and have you feel like this is a home away from home for their guests. Great facilities, nice and private and only about 10-12 minutes from Tuakau it's a great location to stay. If you are fortunate enough to be offered a traditional Indian tea to drink I highly recommend saying yes.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Port Waikato, Te Karaka Lodge is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain.

Well thought out, spacious layout of Lodge and outdoor areas. Evening dining was exceptional. Attentive and helpful hosts. Enjoyed walking and farm tour. Remote, beautiful countryside.

Easy to find, close to my destination (Hampton Downs), spotlessly clean and tidy, decor was fresh and bright, bathroom was excellent, very clean, good fan for keeping cool at night, mosquito nets on windows so they could be left open at night were much appreciated.

It was good to try out the Tiny House features. The "room" was really in the middle of a paddock, next to other occupied paddocks. Viewing the sunrise was wonderful looking down the valley. My dog & I were allowed to roam.

Located on the banks of the Waikato River, North End Motel offers fully self-contained accommodation and features an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities.

Location is great, just on the outskirts of town so its quieter and right next to the river so there are beautiful views from the rooms. The people who own the motel are so helpful and friendly. We've stayed about 6 nights so far and every night has been great.

Easy to find. Exactly the right location for onward travel. Very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant next door and luckily for us we arrived before 8pm. Kitchen closed not long after, but food we had was great.
