SingaporeThe room is quite big and the view.. just the view is worth the money.. it's very close to the beach and possibly the only eatery in the town. You can just take the stairs down for a couple of mins or just drive down. It's a very homely stay and again..the view is just stunning. Just take note they just take cash so remember to keep some!

Kaka point is a perfect base for visiting the Catlins if you have a week because then you can make day trips to the many waterfalls, beaches, lighthouses and historical sites without rushing or getting exhausted. Be captivated by the beauty of the landscape and wildlife, while soaking up the quaint, sleepy town feel of Kaka Point. A lovely beach with a cafe/shop/restaurant so ideal for families. Easy to reach nugget point from there. Bear in mind it’s at the eastern end of the Catlins so if you want to explore places further west, eg Curio Bay, you will have quite a drive. Definitely needs a heat pump for the size of the apartment. Bed was comfy enough. The tiles in the bathroom and in front of the kitchenette is very cold!!! Could do with a rug or two. The view is spectacular!! (I mean it's Kaka Point!) Jenny was amazing in organizing everything even though she was in Aussie. They've got a beautiful place for cheap.
