Incredible views right across the sea to the Coromandel Peninsula. The room is a very good size, with an extremely comfortable bed. This is a rural retreat, a long way from amenities and restaurants, and a farm stay, with chickens running around in the garden outside. So if you are looking for a very relaxing retreat, to unwind and soak up the views, and are happy to cook for yourself a bit (double halogen hob, microwave, full size fridge freezer) with friendly hosts then I can warmly recommend this lovely place. If you want shopping and restaurants on your doorstep, or are phobic of birds, then this wouldn't be the place for you. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the hot tub! And the amazing expanse of the stars at night! I loved it!

The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated in a modern minimalist style. The views on both sides were stunning and showed both the coast and the estuary. The landscaping around the property and the guest patio is beautiful and really enhanced the bungalow. The breakfast provisions were excellent quality and offered a wide range of Options. Amazing views, fireplace, lovely interior of the house. Little personal touches made it very homely. My adult children loved sitting around playing the board games there. Plenty of room.

Room catered to my needs on a cycling holiday. Excellent camp kitchen facilities. Pool was nice and hot. Staff provided extras that were needed without hesitation for the bunkhouse.

Hands down one of the best places we stayed at. The hosts are great, makes you feel like you are home. The breakfast is very enjoyable, fresh and you have plenty of options from cereal, toasts to scrambled eggs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, clean bathrooms and enough resources on a fully booked day.

Surrounded by bushland Brookby Motel offers accommodation 5 minutes' walk from Thames shops, restaurants and cafes. Free car parking is available outside each room.

Gorgeous views from self-contained cottage. Well appointed kitchen. Comfy beds. Hot showers with great water pressure. Luxurious breakfast. A little start-gazing from this quiet area a few minutes out of town. Anna-Marie was a wonderful warm friendly host. Would go back there!
