Great location - away from the bustle of Rotorua - but just a quick drive to get into town. Super close to the amazing Okere Falls cafe and lovely bush walk. I loved the nature and surrounding lake and canals. Good for people with boats and who want to get away from populated areas. If needing food supplies bring with you as the restaurant on site works according to bookings (eg not all day /all the time). This place was amazing we were spoilt for choice for swimming spots had the lake, the river (right at our front door) and the amazing pool. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant w views of the river and watched sunset over the lake it was amazing. I had little ones so I was on high alert for water safety but big kids were in heaven. When I booked the room, it shown the free breakfast were included. When we checked in and had the breakfast, we were told only 1 person was free and another peroson was charged $30.
