Very pretty aesthetic of the place. I felt like I was in a cottage core style magazine. Everything was clean, the little flower garden in between the rooms/kitchen/bathroom is absolutely lovely, there is wifi, there is a TV, books to enjoy, a very nice kitchen, the bathrooms were the kind you enjoy having a shower in. There was noone else staying the night we went so it was very very nice but it would have been lovely anyway. There is also a very cute friendly cat called Taco, which was just the cherry on top. One of my favourite stays in NZ so far.

Fab welcome from Bruce and great to find out more about Sneezlebeezle! Apartment excellent. Everything you need. So near to swimming beach, fab walks nearby, bonus to have hot tub. Excellent restaurants nearby. Our neighbours were most lovely 😍 this has been the highlight of our trip and if I could score 12 out of 10 I would 😀 thanks so very much. I didn't want to leave! At first glance, Rawene looks like a sleepy one street small town- it has three churches alone on the main street! These must compete for congregations. But it is surrounded by water everywhere and the interplay of light, sky, flora and fauna is very attractive. We enjoyed sitting at the Boatshed Cafe and looking at the water. But what also made Rawene special for us is our accomodation at 2 Marriner St. Our room wasn't just clean and comfortable; it had style, a lovely view of the garden and the water and the residential cats came visiting. They were the cute but shy and quiet type ,so no worries there. We spent a lot of time just reading or walking. A definite plus point is that Robyn, our hostess is also an excellent cook. We had two dinners there and both were delicious.

With garden views, Waipoua Lodge is located in Donnellys Crossing and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

Just a fabulous place to stay. Had a gorgeous 2-room suite. The hosts are wonderful and went above and beyond to meet our special dietary requirements and to give us suggestions re what to see in the area. There's even a lovely little bushwalk on the property, and we saw a ruru (native owl) land right in front of the living room ... a very special experience.
