The room is clean and specious.I could see a very dark sky full of stars.The staff is so helpful,I forgot my apple pen,they tried tomessage me if we can drop to pick up it on the way back from Milford Sound.But I didn't read the message. I asked them to send it to my hotel,they are very cooperative,message to me and call me many time to disscuss how to operate.

The property is really charming, and Phil, the host, seems like a genuinely amazing and helpful person. Both him and the stay are great and unpretentious. The breakfast is great too. Highly recommended if you have a car to commute to and from town center, or if you don't have much luggage and are comfortable walking / hitchhiking

Wonderful house with a beautiful location near the lake with mountains in the background. Spacious and very clean. You do need a car ideally to get around and into the town.

The hosts were very nice and they gave us all the instructions about the town and where to find everything we wanted, such as the restaurants and the bike rental. They served a very good breakfast, with options we could choose from. The view from the lodge and from the room was spectacular with Lake Te Anau and the mountains. Beautiful scenery!
