Dansey's Pass Holiday Park was such a great surprise for us. It is such a beautiful spot. We had the cabin that was next to the river and the sound of the water burbling along was lovely. We were also amazed to find deep water holes on the other side of the property - the kids loved skimming stones. We can't wait to go back for a week next time. The fire in our cabin just made the trip perfect! Especially in the rainy day.

a beautiful house with the most amazing hosts. Michelle is a great cook with home baked bread, biscuits and a delicious dinner. The setting is lovely and quiet with a cottage garden, bedrooms are well appointed and all comforts attended to. I was not feeling well and both Michelle and Steve were very caring and kind going out of their way to help me and make sure I was comfortable. You couldn’t get better hosts

It was different to what we’re used to ie: outdoor shower but absolutely great experience. Loved the lavender garden, the gorgeous chooks and actually it was all beautiful. We should have stayed 2 nights! One night just wasn’t enough to take in everything.

A friendly, welcoming and relaxing place to stay. The accommodation had everything you needed, and more. Duntroon is a lovely little place to visit. Gillian and Michael are so helpful and friendly. We would definitely return in the future if we are in the area.

Firstly the host Rosie was exceptional. One of us left a book behind and the next day, with no fuss made, she posted it home. The cottage was absolutely spotless and the facilities just great. Beautiful cotton sheets etc. A new gas bottle was installed if we wanted to bbq. We were given fresh farm eggs and we were given extras and THE best toilet paper in the toilet!! Extra toiletries in the bathroom if they were needed. I left my toothbrush at home and found a new one in the “extras” drawer. The setting was idyllic if you wanted the quiet of the country and it was just a short drive to Oamaru. Thank you Rosie and Kerry.
