I really loved my stay here. The view from my room (number 5) was just breathtaking. The bed was really comfortable as well. Every person from staff I encountered was so sweet and helpful. The food from de restaurant was really nice as well (if you are into green lip mussels, definitely don’t skip out on those).

We rented the apartment, which was very spacious and warm, only 1.5 hours from Cape Reinga. The area is super quiet and secure. Debbie and Dave were great, they pulled out and cleaned the BBQ for us with short notice, really appreciate it!

Facilities described on the website were all closed except the golf course. the pool was closed but even had it been open the description of "an infinity pool" was 100% wrong it was old and dirty with awful paintwork and there was no infinity aspect at all.

the ciottage had everything you could want. The local shops were great, petrol, corner dairy across the road and opposite corner, takeaway shop, bottle store, and the Tuatua Tavern. Chatting with the locals was great - good old fashioned friendliness. The cottage also had a rooftop lookout over Tokerau Bay, with a small table and chairs and ashtrays for the nicotine challenged.
