You simply must stay here if you visit Siargao. Don't even hesitate. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like friends. We felt sad leaving - we stayed 6 days but wish we had stayed a couple of weeks! The design of the hotel is so lovely. The shared living room that's full of books and art was my favorite place to have a quick drink and wind down after a long day. In the mornings you can also have a delicious breakfast there. We especially treasured the time we spent talking with the owners and Mitch. They made us feel like we were visiting friends. Also their three dogs are the cutest!!! Our room was huge and stylish, with lots of room to hang clothes and store bags. The bathroom and shower were especially wonderful. The room was cleaned so meticulously every day. You can have a truly relaxed vacation here because they will arrange everything for you - tours, transport, honest reccomendations of places to see and eat. I'm dreaming of going back here again. Thank you so much from me and Kyle

    General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

    General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

    One of the friendliest places in Earth. Great beaches and even greater good. Tuk tuks and trikes will take you anywhere for next to nothing and the town is walkable. Live music at dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars with Filipino Reggae being da 💣

    Be prepared to a much hot humid weather, drink plenty of water, also be careful where to eat so you don't get sick. I will not recommend any restaurants because one needs to experience everything and learn

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised...

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised to see how much trash and dirty areas were in the area. We were told to visit Cloud 9 and its nice for surfing, but dirty area, dirty restaurants, and very dirty streets. I would not return for the beaches or areas, but would for the surfing.

    The vibe is just right, it's laid back and touristy at the same time. There a lot of food choices and transportation options in going around the island. But the accommodations are a pricey (compared to Boracay).

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights.

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights. It was enough if you just want to explore the nearby spots, and go island hopping. But if you plan to really do a good long staycation, 4 days is not enough. There is still a lot we were not able to do. We both love the vibe of General Luna and Siargao as a whole. We love the island vibe and wish that it should remain as is, untouched by too much modernity.

    Really cute property. The location was fantastic. Right in the centre of general luna but wasn't noisy at night as tucked away down a side street. Fridge stocked with beer and water which was nice. Balcony was also lovely. Comfy bed. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating, so was the lovely dog. Netflix on the TV was a huge plus. Bedside lamps and plugs on each side, always good. Good amount of storage and hangers. Would recommend, we really enjoyed our stay here.

    The apartment was super spacious and very well equipped, with very good shower and aircon. The location was very convenient, walking distance to Cloud 9 and a short ride to General Luna, with very good coffee shops and restaurants just across the street. The place was beautiful, slightly hidden from the main street, both the gardens and the interior of the villas nicely decorated with local plants. Very friendly staff. Would go back.

    Palaka Resort resides in a great location right at the center of General Luna with many restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The pool and the garden is beautiful and relaxing. The staff were very nice and helpful, we were also granted early check in which helped a lot as we had been flying the whole night. Highly recommended.

    We stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms were clean, with all the amenities needed. Daily housekeeping was provided without needing to ask which was a bonus. The centre of General Luna is a 5 min drive, and less than 5 mins to Cloud 9. The staff were helpful.
