A beautiful city.

A beautiful city. Much bigger than we imagined. exceptionally clean. Taxis are very good and there is a very good tram service. We ate in a Michelin restaurant called Kogel Mogel which was exceptional. food was amazing and very reasonably priced.

The old town is really pretty with loads to see. There are food options and bars everywhere, all of high quality, if a little more expensive than you might imagine (the old town is maximum tourist spot). The big draw for us was a trip to Auschwitz, but we also wanted to chill out somewhere nice with tons of character and that's what Krakow offers.

Krakow has made big progress within years.

Krakow has made big progress within years. It is modern, clean town full of young people (university) which make town fresh and push to be up to date (english skills, many modern restaurants, new technologies, sport activities). On the other side old town is very beautifull, same feeling as in Prag, London, Venice, Madrid. You can enjoy ship cruising on river Wisla. Who loves WWII history - one of the best place to study crucial spots (Armija Krajova museum, Schindler factory, Auschwitz)

Krakow is a great city with lots to do.

Krakow is a great city with lots to do. The Jewish quarter for me was best. If you are going to Auschwitz-Birkenau make sure you have a booking before you go. As lots of the tours get cancelled last minute.

It was a lovely place just to wander round.

It was a lovely place just to wander round. We did a ‘Walkative’ tour of the Jewish district which was brilliant then my husband visited the Schindler museum - read the reviews first to see if it’s want. We had planned another ‘Walkative’ walking tour around the old town but unfortunately I wasn’t well so we just did one on our own a couple of days later and enjoyed a lovely sojourn in the sun at a cafe on the square just by the cathedral. Our apartment at the fantastic Stradonia apartments had a kitchenette so we ate in twice and at the Gate of India next door which was excellent and totally gluten free apart from the bread and the beer 🥲and an excellent meal. However all meals were eclipsed by a visit to the Pod Baranum restaurant just round the corner from the apartment. Accredited to the Polish Coeliac society, this was safe for me and totally fabulous but coeliac or not, it should not be missed and really has to be booked. I would also highly recommend the Stradonia apartments - well equipped, great staff, excellent position and totally safe.

Everything was perfect! I loved that check-in and check-out were available 24/7, which made my flights to Krakow and back home super smooth. The hotel smells amazing, and the staff were really friendly. I booked a room with a balcony and it was just perfect. The daily cleaning service was great, with bed linen changed regularly or whenever needed. The location was also ideal , just 10 minutes from the Old Town and Main Square, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. I’d definitely recommend it and will be coming back for sure!

This was by far one of the best places we've stayed. It's proximity to the centre of Old Town Kraków is perfect and allowed us to reach the main square within 4mins walk. There's a tram stop within 100m that will take you anywhere else you like in the city. Our host Anna went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. We really really enjoyed our time in the city and this apartment added to the experience. It has everything you may need.

The breakfast room was bright and welcoming, and the breakfast choice was broad and good value for money. We cou;d not find any reference to a fridge in the room description on line and thought that might be why the Old Town hotel was rated 3* as opposed to the City Centre Leonardo. So we were surprised and pleased to see that there was one.

Excellent location, right in the centre of the main square , while we were there the krakow marathon was taking place right outside the hotel the start/finish line , but this did not effect our stay, The staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem , lots of fabulous restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel, just off the main square of Krakow Old Town. Stunning decor throughout, feels quite luxurious. The staff were great and very welcoming. The spa facilities were adding bonus and a great place to relax after a busy day exploring the city.
