The city of Krakow is absolutely amazing with loads of things to see and to do in the city center area. From the classic museum visits to the daily concerts performed by the The Cracow Chamber Orchestra at the St. Peter & Paul's Church. A couple of must visit items: The Underground Museum and St. Mary Cathedral and Tower. The food is also very good with some excellent restaurnt options, The Black Duck, Pod Aniolami and Morsie Oko. (just remember to make reservations)

Beautiful city with old world charm. Friendly people.

Beautiful city with old world charm. Friendly people. Lots of restaurants offering quality food and reasonable prices. And plenty of sites outside of town to visit. Salt Mine was spectacular. Our Auschwitz trip turned into a nightmare as we hadn't booked in advance (recommend at least one month prior) so we were forced to get last minute tickets. The company (Gr8Way) gave us a confirmed tour time (10AM) and pickup (8:15AM) and at the last minute changed the pickup to a very early one (6AM for a 10AM tour)! We called to cancel but they said they already purchased the tickets but found out they most likely had none. After discussing with a local taxi driver, he said they make you go early so they can purchase tickets at 7AM or so when Auschwitz opens and offers a few day tickets. Beware as we are trying to recover the money charged by the company.

Beautiful place with a very rich history.

Beautiful place with a very rich history. The old town is beautifully restored. The park that surrounds the old town ( formerly the moath outside the city walls) is a wonderful place to bring a lunch, you book etc and just sit on one of the many benches and watch people. I highly recommend taking a walk around the old jewish district of Kazimires and the location of the Jewish WW2 ghetto for some perspective to your trip. I took a guided city walk with the Krakow Explores for 2,5 hours around those neighborhoods with the excellent guide, historian and archeologist Bart, which proved very insightful. Theres is a lot of good food in Krakow and Poland, and don’t miss out one of the many "milk bars" where they serve traditional Pierogis, potato pancakes etc.

    Close to everything. Beautiful city.

Close to everything. Beautiful city. History around every corner. Public transport is easy to use. You can find busy shopping centres and quiet well kept parks all in one place Try eating in a milk bar for authentic Polish food and really good prices. Look out for plaques on the side of building for unexpected History lessons.

Krakow is a clean city. Safe we didn’t see any trouble. Everyone was polite. Food was good. Great buildings to admire. We were a group of nine middle aged men on our annual get together and enjoyed the city and the atmosphere. I would definitely return.

My stay at the sky hotel was amazing. From the minute I checked in to checking out, hotel staff were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is spotless, no marks or dirt. Room was lovely, very comfortable, clean and modern. Location is excellent, the hotel is right in the centre and literally minutes from the old town and sights. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to krakow. Stunning/amazing hotel!
