Excellent town and spa to spend some time in.
Excellent town and spa to spend some time in. Friendly people, variety of accomodations in all brackets of price and quality, charming atmosphere. One complaint - smog over lower lying parts of Zdroj (spa) part of town, seems to be ever present. It is a beautiful area if you like the mountains.
It is a beautiful area if you like the mountains. It is a place with bad infrastructure but after the floods of last year it is now even worse. The food in most restaurants at ski slopes is average to bad. My daughter got sick after eating a tomato soup that did not even contain tomatoes.Guest review byalbertPoland - 10.0

It's Polish "Karlovy Vary". Similar atmosphere, peaceful area, good parks. Important thing to keep in mind - staying here for few days you: 1. will get older ~20 years 2. will realize you're still very young! both 1 and 2 is due to the same reason - the average age of people walking on the streets here is 73 years... :) This is not bad, just has some consequences :) Still good place! )Guest review byDmitriyPoland - 8.0
Well worth a visit.
Well worth a visit. Excellent well signed walks through some beautiful forests. A lack of visitors in the last 10-20 years has meant some loss of businesses and investment but it is evident the town is trying to address. the situation(refurbishment of buildings etc).It needs your help so please give it a try.Guest review byryszardUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The city is old and dilapidated, although it has some of the oldest spas in Europe. In addition to the square and the spa park with a few buildings it is very-very ruined. Sad and broken. Too bad, full of broken buildings, windows, almost for demolition. In season there is a beautiful Arboretum (botanical park), spa park, forest, pond, playground for kids.. Due to the corona (even though it has been 2 years) a lot of non-functional restaurants. Wojcech Spa Pool for children 6+. No internet nor mobile signal. The cottage and the garden are absolutely great, especially for a summer stay. The garden is huge with plenty of space to relax or for kids to play games or play in the stream. An extra cottage for outdoor meals or games, an outdoor fireplace and greenery make this place an oasis. The owner is very nice and helpful and lives nearby.Guest review byAnnaPoland
