We booked Hampton by Hilton as we had organized a tour the following morning to Auschwitz. The hotel is approximately 35 mins walk to Auschwitz or 5-7 mins by taxi. (It is also approx 1 hour drive from Katowice airport) There is some retail stores close to the hotel (in a small retail park). Hotel is centrally located, staff were very kind, friendly and helpful and the receptionist Malwina arranged private transfer from Katowice airport to the hotel late at night. Room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice for everyone and very fresh. The receptionists also recommended us places to eat and so did our taxi driver. We visited Portobello Italian Restaurant for late lunch which was excellent and approx 15 mins walk from the hotel. I would return again to stay at Hampton by Hilton, I highly recommend it. We enjoyed our short stay and a special thank you to Malwina for all your help regarding the transfer to the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect, the room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I liked the owner, she is so nice! Also, I liked the room, the space is big enough, kitchen is not separated from the room, but we did not cook, so I will not complain. Also, there is an air conditioner, which is useful, since it is noisy outside, but you can close the window and switch on the air cond. Overall, the experience was good, we are here for the second time and next time we will stay here again.
