Stayed here for one night while passing through, was too short, the owners were more than helpful, waiting up for us as we didn’t arrive till late and gave us breakfast early next morning. Spotlessly clean , shame we couldn’t have stayed a few more days. We will be back

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with tastefully renovated facilities that reflect great attention to detail. We had such a wonderful family stay at Hotel Alegre! The hotel has a charming, traditional atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful advice about the local area. We especially loved the beautiful location in Luso — so peaceful, with lovely views and easy access to the thermal baths and nearby attractions. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, a perfect start to our days.

What a magical place! It was even more beautiful than we expected. The gardens were just gorgeous! The inside of the palace is beautiful. We loved the stairs and the breakfast room especially. The staff are all so kind and helpful. Around the palace there are beautiful routes full of trees and a lake with ducks to take relaxing walks in the nature. Our stay there was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal!

The location was perfect, it was near many restaurants, cafe’s, breakfast places, etc….. the hotel and room were very very clean. The view from the rooftop breakfast bar are really awesome. The thing that stood out above it all was the staff. The staff were all so friendly and helpful always. I can stress that enough. The cleaning staff was amazing!!! They went above and beyond with our stuff also
