Very friendly family run place. They went out of their way to provide me with a vegan breakfast which was very much appreciated. It's a great place, super clean, spacious rooms, and a cafe next door. There is safe off-street parking which is locked at night. All in all a great place to stay.

Everything was absolutly excelent!!! The location, all the space , all the details, some of them look "random" but everything works perfectly. The garden, the most amazing hand made signature breakfast ( different every day ). Also a perfect place to take your pet! He also didn't wanted to leave. And, very important, not to forget : Jan and Lizz, the hosts. Coudn't ask for better hosts and how good it was talking to you. Amazing location - we knew Fragas de São Simão already and it was a dream to be able to wake up in nature! The cottage is small but very well designed - with storage in every corner! Very well equipped - but there is also a bar/ kiosk just a few steps away where you can buy some snacks.
