The town itself was smaller than the surrounding towns with less amenities , like restaurants to choose from, but we were only there for one night so it was fine. The owners were very helpful with the arrival and recommendations for food. As Almograve is a very small village, there are only a few restaurants for dinner. Therefore, it was nice to be able to fetch groceries from the nearby minimarket and prepare a small dinner at the house. Room was ok, but matresses are a bit thin and there has been an unpleasant smell because of the drains. But after showering it got better. The common area and patio are very cosy and generally there is a very good and clean kitchen. Only manko: some pans could be replaced. The building is evidently old, but it works like a charm. When I have arrived I could tell that it was properly clean as it smelled very fresh.
