Our stay at Amada Moura was amazing. Before arriving, we kept in touch with the host and they were very responsive. Our check in was also very easy and flexible. The room was great, very spacey, very well decorated, we loved some details of how they managed to merge modern decoration with some vintage/historic elements (e.g., the wardrobe, the light switches, etc.). It felt like travelling a bit back in time but at the same time having the comfort of modern times. The bathroom was also beautiful. Everyone was very nice and available. The breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from, very healthy and tasty. The courtyard is such a calm place to relax, with the pool and the lemon tree... it just begs to slow down and enjoy the moment without rushing.

A wonderful family who are so kind & helpful. Also Coca Maria (the dog - we love her) The location is beautiful. Wish we had stayed longer. We plan to visit again.

    An excellent location to rest and relax, easy to visit...

    An excellent location to rest and relax, easy to visit nearby towns. Visit the wine farm Adega Marel. Amaraleja has a few lovely restaurants (Corte Velha and Adega Piteira, a nice coffeehouse Pastelariado Largo) A very small and quaint town but owner Mirjam will guide you in the right direction to experience the ultimate Portuguese hospitality.
