Everything was great. Manager helped us to change a room for our needs. Then they served a delicious dinner, great thanks for chef, I'd say it is one of the best Portuguese cuisine I've ate in Portugal. The interior is very comfortable and cozy. Truly a 5-star hotel in the heart of Tondela. Excellent services all around! The rooms are spacious and quiet, the English-speaking staff is amazing, and the included breakfast is great, with options for all kinds of diets. Healthy healthy healthy!! I stayed at a couple of other nearby hotels that offered similar accommodations for the same price, but this one is much much better.

My Dad and I arrived and were greeted by the friendly hotel staff. We were impressed by the beauty of the hotel and its surroundings. The room was large and accommodating. We ate lunch in the dining room and the food was delicious and service was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. One of the staff members called and reserved a winery tour for us. Great staff! The only regret we had was that we wished we could have stayed longer.

This is a tastefully decorated country house, with a very well equipped kitchen, a terrace to sit for breakfast, lunch, sundowner and dinner overlooking a well maintained landscaped large garden. Ample private parking space right in front of the house. The house offers total privacy yet the host is in the house 200 years away if needed. Host speaks fluent English, communications very easy by WhatsApp and in person. We were greeted with a welcome bottle of wine, bread and fruit eggs and milk, then some home grown fruits and beef tomatoes were delivered in the week. It was just simply good, feels like home immediately, and we knew we would miss it when we left. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful house and space. Stunning views over the river, valleys and hills, superb sunset every day. Stay there as long as you can afford, you won't regret it. We really enjoyed eating the local produce from the bakery and pingo doce, drinking Dao wines. Wifi is good for remote working.
