Fantastic hotel. It had a very tropical/exotic location vibe. Everything is clean and well maintained. They thought about sustainability - there is a reusable glass bottle in the room, shampoo and soap are in dispensers on the bathroom wall. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is just beautiful.

from moment 1 it's all about the visitor. We arrived later than the opening hours from the restaurant since our flight was delayed. They've provided a light evening meal without even asking. What a way to start someones journey! They can help you with your plans to visit the island, direct book your whale watching tour, etc. Exceptional way to make feel guests at home. Keep this up!

Amazing place, fantastic hosts and we wish we could stay there longer. The place was big, with a beautiful walk in shower, spacious kitchen with everything you can possibly want, gorgeous view from the window- sunrise at the ocean. The donkeys next door were super cute too. I will recommend this place to anyone traveling to Azores. Thank you again!!

    this hotel was far from the airport or anything else for that matter, if you had to walk so a car is a necessity, and although the hotel had amenities like restaurant (only open for breakfast with the same breakfast every day) and vending machines (which if you could find a working one was empty( best piece of advise is find a grocery store, the island living is the best but it does take some getting used to if your from North America.

    Stunning location. Incredible volcanic scenery.

    Stunning location. Incredible volcanic scenery. Wonderful wildlife. Great bars and eateries up the hill in Agua do Pau. Speeding Traffic in the area a major problem. Roads very dangerous, particularly after dark. Illicit drugs openly available close by if that's your thing, probably contributing to the road safety issues.
